First Time Opening?
macOS might show a warning about an "unidentified developer". Here's how to fix it:
- Right-click (or Control-click) on Tessel
- Click "Open" from the menu
- Click "Open" again in the popup
You only need to do this once.
Give Tessel Permission
Tessel needs special permission to work with keyboard shortcuts. When asked:
- Click "Open System Settings"
- Turn ON the switch next to Tessel
- If Tessel doesn't appear, click the + button and add it from Applications
Tip: If shortcuts still don't work, restart Tessel after giving permission.
You're Done!
Look for the Tessel icon in your menu bar (top right of your screen). Click it to open the app.
Try Your First Transform
- Copy some text (Cmd+C)
- Press Ctrl+Alt+4 (Clean Text shortcut)
- Paste (Cmd+V) - your text is now cleaned up!
