First Steps with Tessel

Learn how to use Tessel in 5 minutes.

How Tessel Works

Tessel is simple:

  1. Copy something to your clipboard
  2. Press a keyboard shortcut
  3. Paste - you get the transformed result

That's it. No windows to switch between, no apps to open. Just copy, press, paste.

Try It Right Now

Clean Up Messy Text

This is the easiest transform to try:

  1. Copy this text (yes, with all the weird stuff):
Hello world!!! This has weird spacing...

  2. Press Ctrl+Alt+4
  3. Paste anywhere - the text is now clean!

Remove an Image Background

  1. Take a screenshot of something (or copy an image from a website)
  2. Press Ctrl+Alt+6
  3. Paste - the background is gone!

Convert HTML to Markdown

  1. Copy this:

My Title

This is bold text.

  2. Press Ctrl+Alt+1
  3. Paste - you get clean Markdown:
    # My Title

    This is **bold** text.
